About SmartPLS

SmartPLS is software for Structural Equation Modeling using the Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS). It is used to test relationships between variables in a research model, including latent variables that cannot be measured directly, such as satisfaction, loyalty, or purchase intention.

SEM-PLS is widely used in business and management research because it performs well with relatively small samples and does not require normally distributed data.

How to Access

SmartPLS is available only on computers at the SB IPB Library. Off-campus access and installation on personal devices are not permitted.

Booking & Usage Policy
  1. SmartPLS is available to students, faculty, and staff of the IPB University School of Business.
  2. Book a session via WhatsApp +62 811-9213-007 or in person at the SB IPB Library.
  3. When booking, please provide your name and preferred time.
  4. Each booking covers 1 hour of use, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  5. If others are waiting, extensions are granted in queue order.
  6. If no one is waiting, you may extend your session after notifying library staff.
  7. Users are responsible for the computers, facilities, accounts, and software licenses, and must not share access with others.
  8. Please notify library staff when you finish. Use is limited to the SB IPB Library’s opening hours.
